Toro Nagashi

Obon is the Japanese Buddhist holiday to honor the departed spirits of one's ancestors.

Toro Nagashi is the floating of paper lanterns on the last evening of Obon, to guide the spirits in their journey.
Here is a pictorial celebration of my journey to Obon through Toro Nagashi.

Release

One lantern was for my Grandma. No one loved me as much as she did.
One lantern was a farwell for a departing friend.
One lantern was for my partner in crime who was greatly missed.

Was that your first shot at making any type of a movie EVER?
Whoa, it blows out my mind with its glactic awesomeness.
How ever did you figure that shit out in less than 40 minutes?

Why yes- Random Person,
That was my very first attempt at working with video editing.

You are super wonderful and clearly a smarty-farty for knowing impressive knowledge intake when you see it.

Self high five for you....
